200x200cm Suede Picnic Mat with Waterproof Aluminum Membrane Base

This folding picnic mat offers a practical solution for outdoor seating and floor activities. The 200x200cm expanded size provides ample space for picnics, camping trips, or yoga sessions. Its suede top layer is soft and washable, while the aluminum membrane base resists moisture from damp ground. The 2mm shrink thin sponge interlayer adds a subtle cushioning effect. When folded, the mat measures just 40x28x10cm, making it easy to store in a car boot or carry bag. Available in blue stripes, grey stripes, purple snowflakes, and blue snowflakes, it suits a range of casual outdoor settings.

Features and Construction

The mat is built with a printed single-sided velvet (suede) surface, an aluminum membrane waterproof base, and a 2mm shrink thin sponge interlayer. These materials work together to provide a soft top, moisture protection, and light cushioning.

Material and Build

The suede top layer is soft to the touch and can be washed. The aluminum membrane base acts as a waterproof barrier against grass, sand, or wet ground. Between them, a 2mm shrink thin sponge interlayer adds a thin layer of padding. This combination keeps the mat lightweight and foldable while offering basic comfort and moisture resistance.

Size and Practical Fit

When expanded, the mat measures 200x200cm, giving enough room for several people to sit or for one person to lie down. The folded size is 40x28x10cm, which is compact enough to fit in most car boots or storage cupboards. The mat is suitable for picnics, camping, yoga, or as a crawling mat for children.

Uses and Placement

This mat is designed for outdoor and indoor use where a dry, soft surface is needed. It can be placed on grass, sand, or floors.

Event or Professional Use

For picnics, camping, or outdoor events, the waterproof base helps keep you dry on damp ground. The suede surface provides a comfortable spot for sitting or eating. The mat can also be used as a temporary floor covering at markets or stalls.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the mat works as a yoga mat, a play mat for children, or a cushion for floor seating. The suede top is soft against the skin, and the sponge interlayer adds a little padding. When not in use, it folds away compactly.

Benefits and Buying Value

The mat combines a soft suede surface, a waterproof base, and a foldable design. It offers a reusable alternative to disposable mats.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The suede surface is washable, and the aluminum membrane base can be wiped clean. This makes the mat easy to maintain for repeated use. Ensure it is fully dry before folding to prevent moisture buildup.
