HD AHD Waterproof Bullet CCTV Camera with 24 LED IR Night Vision

This bullet CCTV camera is built for outdoor security where weather exposure and low-light conditions are everyday concerns. It uses a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor with 1.3 megapixel capability and delivers 1280x960P resolution at 25fps real time. The 24 LED IR array and built-in IR-cut filter provide day and night vision, while the 3.0MP 3.6mm lens gives a fixed viewing angle. With an IP66 weatherproof rating and ABS plastic shell weighing 0.3kg, it is designed to be mounted outdoors. The camera supports WIFI and P2P cloud function, and you can view footage through IE, Firefox, Google browser, iPhone, or Android smartphone. It is available in 1080P or 960P model options and EU, Normal, or US specification variants. The default IP address is 192.168.1.136. Simple operation and easy setup make it a practical choice for home or business surveillance. Please note that power supply, operating temperature range, and exact IR night vision distance are not specified in the available data.

Features and Construction

The core hardware of this camera centres on its CMOS sensor, fixed lens, and IR lighting array. These components determine how it captures images during the day and at night, and how it performs in outdoor conditions. The ABS plastic shell keeps the unit lightweight while providing the housing for the IP66 weatherproof rating.

Material and Build

The camera housing is made from ABS plastic, a material commonly used for outdoor electronic enclosures because it is lightweight and resistant to moisture when correctly sealed. The net weight is 0.3kg, so it can be mounted on most standard brackets without adding significant load. The IP66 rating indicates protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for exposed outdoor positions such as under eaves or on walls. The 24 LED IR array is integrated into the front of the housing, and the built-in IR-cut filter switches automatically between day and night modes. The ABS shell does not include any additional anti-corrosion or impact rating beyond what the source states, so installers should avoid positions where the camera could be struck or submerged.

Size and Practical Fit

The only stated measurement for this camera is its net weight of 0.3kg. No physical dimensions such as length, width, or height are provided in the source data, so it is not possible to confirm the exact footprint or clearance needed for mounting. The 3.0MP 3.6mm lens is fixed, meaning the field of view cannot be adjusted optically. This fixed focal length is typically suited to covering a specific area such as a driveway, entrance, or rear garden. Because the camera is a bullet style, it is intended for wall or ceiling mounting with the lens pointing in a set direction. Buyers should check their mounting surface and bracket compatibility before installation, as no bracket dimensions are supplied. The default IP address 192.168.1.136 is used for initial network access.

Uses and Placement

This camera is intended for outdoor security monitoring where weather resistance and night vision are required. Its IP66 rating and IR LEDs make it suitable for positions that are exposed to rain but not submerged. The WIFI and P2P cloud functions allow remote viewing on common devices, which supports both event monitoring and everyday home observation.

Event or Professional Use

For temporary events, construction sites, or commercial premises, the camera can be mounted to cover an entrance, storage area, or perimeter. The 1280x960P resolution at 25fps real time provides smooth video for identifying movement, and the 24 LED IR illumination supports recording in low light. The camera works with IE, Firefox, and Google browser for desktop viewing, and with iPhone and Android smartphone for mobile access. P2P cloud function simplifies remote connection without complex network configuration. However, the source does not state whether the camera supports audio recording, motion detection alerts, or local storage via SD card, so these features should not be assumed. The default IP address 192.168.1.136 is used for initial setup on a local network.

Everyday Home Use

For home security, this bullet camera can be placed to monitor a front door, driveway, back garden, or side passage. The IP66 weatherproof rating means it can be left outside in rain, and the IR-cut filter automatically adjusts for day and night vision. The WIFI function allows you to check the feed on a smartphone or browser without running video cable to a recorder, provided your network supports the camera's requirements. The ABS plastic shell is lightweight at 0.3kg, so it can be mounted on walls or soffits with suitable fixings. Simple operation and easy setup are stated, but the source does not specify the power adapter type or voltage, so you will need to confirm the correct power supply separately. The camera is available in 1080P or 960P models and EU, Normal, or US specifications, so choose the variant that matches your region and resolution needs.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main practical benefits of this camera are its outdoor-ready IP66 housing, day and night vision via IR LEDs, and flexible viewing through browsers and smartphones. It offers a straightforward way to add visual monitoring to a home or business without needing specialised software. The ABS construction and 0.3kg weight also make installation relatively simple for a single person.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Because the camera uses an ABS plastic shell and has an IP66 rating, it can remain installed outdoors for long periods with minimal maintenance. Cleaning the lens and housing with a soft dry cloth helps maintain image clarity and prevents dust buildup. The IR-cut filter is built in and switches automatically, so there are no manual day/night adjustments to make. The source does not state a lifespan or specific maintenance schedule, so periodic visual checks for water ingress or loose mountings are sensible. The 24 LED IR array is a fixed component; if any LEDs fail, the night vision range may reduce, but no replacement information is provided. The default IP address 192.168.1.136 can be changed in the camera settings if needed.
